Tourist Rentals

Navigating the tourist rental market can be quite challenging. Due to increasing regulations and limited availability of tourist rental licenses, it has become almost impossible for new property owners to enter this market in Valencia.

As of August 2, 2024, new legislation regarding tourist rentals has taken effect in the Comunidad Valenciana, which includes the provinces of Alicante, Castellon, and Valencia (including Valencia City).

According to this law, all rentals shorter than 11 days are classified as tourist rentals, while rentals of 11 days or longer are categorized as seasonal rentals and are exempt from this law. Read more about this law in this blog.
